The Project Manager is responsible to the ICT Project Manager for the management and delivery of key ICT Systems and/or infrastructure programs to deliver timely and quality project outcomes.
The position is responsible for the overall management of a project from initiation to implementation, including the leadership and management of project staff consisting of departmental employees, specialist contractors and external vendors. The Project manager will adhere to the department’s project management methodology and will work collaboratively with officers in ICT Services, key business representatives and external vendors and suppliers to deliver project outcomes.

Desirable – Relevant Tertiary Qualifications.

Special Conditions
Please note to be employed by the department in any role, applicants must be vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved medical exemption endorsed by the Chief Public Health Officer (or delegate). Proof of vaccination status must be provided for sighting on request.
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.
The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Requirements

Remuneration
ASO7: $101,859 – $110,107 pa
