About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Production Administrator to join our Rural team, located at Sheaoak Log (near Gawler) to provide day-to-day site administration support to our production team and ensure effective administration workflow.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of duties including:

  • Raising supplier and sub-contractor purchase orders;
  • Setting up new suppliers and sub-contractors in the system;
  • Raising work order and liaising with the production team;
  • Supporting the production team with production reporting and monitoring stock levels;
  • Hands-on support with stocktakes, reviewing stock levels and reporting variances;
  • Project administration support – setting up new projects files;
  • Fortnightly payroll submission to head office, entering leave forms and point of contact for wage queries; and
  • Answering and responding to incoming calls and actioning accordingly.

Essential criteria:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, supporting a production team;
  • Experience with inventory/stock control;
  • Experience in accounts payable and receivable;
  • High level of communications skills written and verbal;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Excellent attention to detail and accurate data entry skills; and
  • Good time management with the ability to work to deadlines.

This position requires a hands-on person with the ability to work well in a small cohesive team. Candidates with experience in Pronto will be considered favourably.
