About the role

We are now recruiting for a Part-Time Telephone Sales Consultant to join our Sales team.

Reporting to the Telephone Sales Manager, the Telephone Sales Consultant sells to and manages a portfolio of telephone customers (via both inbound and outbound). The role provides product information, pricing, wine education and general customer service. The intended outcome is to collect and key orders, to meet and exceed sales targets / business key performance indicators and to drive revenue growth for Accolade Wines in Australia.

Key Accountabilities:

Perform role to meet and exceed required business targets 
•    Execute daily, weekly and monthly telephone call expectations to portfolio customers
•    Build rapport and relationship with portfolio customers
•    Identify sales opportunities and ability to add value to the relationship
•    Inform customers of all relevant deals, discounts and promotional material
•    Ensure customer orders are keyed into appropriate portal promptly and accurately
•    Ensure customer information is entered promptly and accurately into CRM system
•    Work collaboratively as part of a team
•    Attend external Accolade Wine events as required

Drive individual and team performance
•    Attend weekly team meetings
•    Prepare for, and attend one on ones monthly
•    Attend sales cycle briefs quarterly
•    Assess individual performance via appropriate reports / KPI metrics

Promote a culture of continuous improvement
•    Identify areas of people, process and technology improvement to drive role efficiency and customer experience
•    Seek feedback from team and Field Sales regarding opportunities for continual improvement
•    Seek additional training opportunities as required

What you’ll bring:

•    Minimum 1-year experience in a sales role dealing with business customers
•    Experience in a KPI and high-pressure target-driven environment
•    Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), especially over the phone
•    Proactive mindset (engaging & impact-oriented) anticipating needs
•    Strong MS-Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), proficient in MS Office
•    Fluent English (verbal and written)

About you
•    Minimum 1 year experience in a sales role dealing with business customers
•    Experience in a KPI and high-pressure target-driven environment
•    Very good organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
•    Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), especially over the phone
•    Good stakeholder management skills, including interacting with different levels of seniority
•    Proactive mindset (engaging & impact-oriented) anticipating needs and issues.
•    High attention to detail with the ability to think end-to-end on behalf of the customer and work with a sense of purpose
•    Business acumen and very good numerical and analytical skills
•    Strong MS-Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), proficient in MS Office
•    Fluent English (verbal and written)
•    Foreign language and previous call centre experience advantageous
