Visitors to Hardys Tintara can enjoy a range of wines that showcase the best McLaren Vale has to offer. A visit is not just about tasting wine, but experiencing the rich history that goes into running a business over 160 years.

We’re currently looking for two Cellar Door Hosts to join our small, friendly team on a casual basis, working 2-3 shifts per week. While you will work mostly on evenings (Fri/Sat), weekends and public holidays, ideally you’ll be available to work the occasional weekday shift.

Key Responsibilities
As a Cellar Door Host, you will:

  • passionately deliver an exceptional wine experience to patrons of the Hardys Tintara cellar door
  • conduct wine tastings and sales
  • promote wine club membership to visitors and sign new members
  • undertake daily housekeeping duties
  • pick, pack and dispatch wine orders for customers.

What You’ll Bring
It’s essential that you have Responsible Sevice of Alcohol accreditation and experience in a customer facing role. It’s highly desirable that you have experience in a cellar door or hospitality setting.

You can demonstrate:

  • a genuine interest in wine and enthusiasm for learning about Hardys Tintara’s products
  • advanced people engagement skills with the ability to “tell a story”
  • basic computer skills, including knowledge of point of sale equipment and processes
  • neat presentation and pride in your appearance.
